Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started pet sitting at nine years old and have cared for countless pets with love, patience, and attention to detail. My passion is making animals feel safe and comfortable in their homes. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own, ensuring they’re well-loved and at ease while you’re away.
I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society in Ojai and MarinHumane in Novato, California, where I gained valuable hands-on experience with animals. I’ve also completed the RECOVER CPR: Basic Life Support Certification program for dogs through the American College of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care. Additionally, I’m fortunate to have a strong support network of animal care professionals—one of my closest friends is an animal behaviorist specializing in dogs, and my youngest daughter is a Certified Veterinary Technician with expertise in disaster preparedness and response teams.
Whether administering medications, tending to special needs, or tackling the “dirty work,” I’m dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets, including those who may be sick or injured. In addition to loving animals, I’m a nature enthusiast who enjoys hiking, photography, and spending time outdoors. I’m family-focused, a big soccer fan, and always eager to connect with others who share my love for animals.
I take pride in keeping homes spotless and well-maintained, and I’m happy to handle extra tasks like watering plants, collecting mail, or other small chores. With me, you can trust that your home and pets are in responsible, caring hands, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
Why do I house and pet sit?
I house and pet sit because it combines two of my greatest passions: caring for animals and connecting with people. Spending time with pets brings me immense joy, and I love forming bonds with them, whether going on walks, playing, or simply offering companionship. Every pet has its unique personality, and I cherish the opportunity to get to know and care for each one.
House and pet sitting also allow me to explore new places and meet wonderful people. I enjoy learning about different communities, discovering local treasures, and experiencing life from a fresh perspective. It’s a rewarding way to travel, build connections, and create meaningful experiences with pets and their owners.
